IT Manager - Americas
Prior to joining Bregal, Yan Auerbach worked as a Systems Administrator for Bessemer Venture Partners, where he made the firm’s business possible by spearheading its information technology initiatives. At Bessemer, he was exposed to innovative technologies while implementing and supporting a state-of-the-art computer network.
He was in the board room during early stage company pitches from Linkedin, Pinterest, Twilio, Box.net and many more. This experience gave Yan crucial visibility into startup companies and how they emerge in the marketplace, which translated directly to his pioneering entrepreneurship with his own startup SpeechTrans.
At Bregal, Yan is the liaison between the companies business and IT needs. His job is to make sure that technology is being implementented in a way which is beneficial to the organization and it's growth strategy.
Jessica joined Bregal Milestone from Bregal Investments. Prior to Bregal, she worked at corporate finance advisory firm Arma Partners, the State of Qatar and the Sellar Family’s asset management firm, REM (UK) Limited.
Jessica holds a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Dundee and trained as a dentist. She also holds a board-certified Membership Diploma with the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
Steven Black joined Bregal Investments in September 2012. Steve was elected to NASDAQ OMX’s board of directors in December 2011.
Steve was the Vice Chairman of J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. from March 2010 through February 2011 and a member of the firm’s Operating and Executive committees. Prior to that position, Steve was the Executive Chairman of J.P. Morgan Investment Bank from October 2009 through March 2010. He also served as a Co-Chief Executive Officer of J.P. Morgan Investment Bank from 2004 through 2009. Steve was the Deputy Co-Chief Executive Officer of J.P. Morgan Investment Bank since 2003 and also served as head of J. P. Morgan Investment Bank’s Global Equities business since 2000, following a career with Citigroup and its predecessor firms.
Steve serves as a member on the investment committees of Bregal Freshstream, Bregal Unternehmerkapital, Bregal Milestone, Bregal Capital, Bregal Sagemount, Bregal Partners, Bregal Energy, Bregal Private Equity Partners, Ranch Capital Investment, Birchill Exploration and Centre Bregal Partners.
He is a 1974 graduate of Duke University and has served on the New York Development Council.
Vice President - Finance
Hetal joined the Bregal Investments team in New York, in October 2015, as a Finance Associate.
Prior to joining Bregal, Hetal worked at BlueBay Asset Management LLP (London) within the Financial Planning & Analysis team and before that was part of the Segregated Mandates Fund Accounting team.
Hetal is a qualified Chartered Accountant and a Chartered Tax Advisor and completed her training with Deloitte. Hetal holds a MSci in Chemistry from the University of Nottingham.
Before joining Freshstream as an intern, Nicolas worked as an analyst at JP Morgan for two years.
Nicolas received a BSc (Hons) Management (Account & Finance) from the University of Manchester and a MSc (Hons) in Economics and Strategy from Imperial College London.
Business Analyst (London)
Ms. Brenninkmeijer joined Bregal in September 2017.
Tatjana graduated from the University of Cambridge in 2016 where she obtained a B.A. in Land Economy (Law, Economics and Geography).
Mr. Brenninkmeijer assumed the role of non-executive Chairman of Bregal Investments in October 2013.
Mr. Brenninkmeijer has been with the COFRA group for the past 25 years. From 1991 to 2000, he held various commercial and store operating positions with the European clothing retailer C&A in France and Belgium, culminating in 1997 as the Executive Board member responsible for all European stores. He then joined Redevco, COFRA’s Real Estate Organization, managing a start-up till 2002. In 2003 he joined Bregal Investments. In Bregal he has subsequently worked in BPEP, its fund investment arm between 2003 and 2009, has restructured portfolio holdings and served in Investment Committees between 2010 and 2014, becoming Chairman in late 2013. Mr. Brenninkmeijer also serves as the Chairman of Redevco since April 2013 and is a member of the Cofra Executive Board since Jan 2015.
Mr. Brenninkmeijer holds an MA of Oxford University studying Politics, Philosophy and Economics at Pembroke College; subsequently he obtained an MBA from IMD, Lausanne.
William Breskman is an Associate at Bregal Sagemount and is responsible for originating and underwriting investments in the software, healthcare, financial technology, business services, and consumer services sectors. Previously, he was an investment banking analyst in the Mergers & Acquisitions Group at Peter J Solomon Company. William graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania with a BA in Economics.
Investment Director (London)
Mrs. Bright joined Bregal in 2012 from PPM Managers, where she was an Associate Director involved in fund and direct investments in Europe and Emerging Markets. Before that, she worked at Deloitte LLP for 6 years in the corporate finance and private equity funds group.
Mrs. Bright grew up in Portugal and received an Economics degree from Universidade Católica Portuguesa. She has completed her CFA Level I.
Jan is a Managing Partner of Bregal Milestone and a member of the firm’s investment committee. Prior to founding Bregal Milestone, Jan was a co-founding Partner at Makuria Investment Management, where he led investments in the equity and debt of European companies.
Before setting up Makuria, Jan originated and invested in European special situations at Och-Ziff Capital Management. Jan began his career in Goldman Sachs’ Investment Banking Division in London, where he executed complex M&A and leveraged finance transactions across Europe. He holds an M.A. in Finance from the University of St. Gallen (Switzerland).
In his role as a Senior Associate, Sylvester Burley focuses on the evaluation, execution and post-transaction value creation in companies Bregal Energy has invested in across the energy sector – exploration and production, power generation, renewables and midstream. Sylvester is a key member of the team supervising operations for investments.
Prior to joining Bregal Investments, Sylvester worked at Basalt Infrastructure Partners where he advised on the origination, execution, management and operation of investments across the mid-market infrastructure space including the energy, transport and utilities sectors.
Previously, Sylvester spent two years at Riverstone Holdings, where he was responsible for transaction execution and asset management support for companies across all segments of the energy value chain. He started his career in J.P. Morgan’s Energy Investment Banking group.
Sylvester has a B.A. in Economics with a secondary field in Mathematics from Harvard University.
Nathan Campbell is the Partner responsible for Bregal Energy. He has led investments in exploration & production, power, midstream and electric transmission sectors since joining Bregal Energy in 2010. Nathan currently serves on the boards of IMG Midstream, Birchill Canada, Inflection Energy, Champlin Wind and Atlantic Wind Connection.
Prior to joining Bregal Energy, Nathan worked for Macquarie Capital as an Associate Director in both New York and Sydney. During his six years at the firm, Nathan was involved in principal investments across a number of sectors including renewable energy, smart grid, energy distribution, semiconductors and transportation. Previously, Nathan worked at Deutsche Bank AG and spent six years in the Aviation sector, where his responsibilities included the financial and operational management of an annual oil usage of approximately 40 million barrels.
An Australian citizen, Nathan holds a Masters in Applied Finance & Investment from the Financial Services Institute of Australasia and a Bachelor of Commerce from the Australian National University.
Francesco is a Senior Associate at Bregal Milestone. Prior to joining Bregal Milestone, he was an investment professional at Kildare Partners, a European private equity firm. Before Kildare Partners, Francesco was a member of the European Special Situations Group at Goldman Sachs, investing the proprietary capital of the firm into the debt and equity of European mid-market companies.
Francesco started his career in the private equity team at Partners Group. He holds a M.Sc. in Finance from Bocconi University.
Previously Tom was an Associate at Bregal Capital and prior to that started his career in investment banking at Bank of America Merrill Lynch.
Tom graduated from Imperial College London with a First Class MSci degree in Physics.
Gerald Castaldo is a Senior Associate at Bregal Sagemount and is responsible for originating and underwriting investments in the software, healthcare, financial technology, business services, and consumer services sectors. Li Ling Chang
Senior Financial Analyst
Li Ling Chang joined Bregal in February 2010 as a financial analyst.
Prior to joining Bregal, Li Ling worked within the KPMG Corporate Restructuring team. Her work included providing advice on corporate transactions, capital structures, improvements to cash flow and investment appraisal.
Li Ling is a qualified Chartered Accountant and holds a BEng in Electrical Electronic Engineering from Imperial College, London.

Ms. Claypool joined Bregal in 2011 from HarbourVest, where she was an Associate involved in a variety of private equity fund investments. Before that, she was an Investment Banking Analyst in the Consumer & Retail Corporate Finance Group at Wachovia Securities.
Ms. Claypool graduated cum laude from Washington & Lee University with a BA in Economics and Theatre.
George Couto is a Vice President of Bregal Partners with an investment focus targeting business services, consumer & multi-unit, and food & beverage industries.
His current portfolio companies include TDBBS and American Seafoods Partners. He has previously served as a director of American Gilsonite and PayChoice.
Prior to joining Bregal Partners, Mr. Couto was an investment professional at Pritzker Private Capital and Palladium Equity Partners where he focused on business services, consumer, and industrial sectors. Prior to joining Palladium Equity Partners, Mr. Couto was an Associate at Great Hill Partners, a Boston-based private equity firm that has raised and managed $5.3 billion of capital. Mr. Couto started his career at J.P. Morgan as an investment banking analyst.
Mr. Couto received his M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and received his M.Eng. and B.Eng. in Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology.

Finance Director - Europe
Graham joined Bregal in May 2016 as the European Finance Director.
Prior to joining Bregal, Graham spent 16 years at Parallel Private Equity where he was the Finance Partner and was responsible for all finance and operational matters. Graham has also spent 10 years at KPMG in London where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant and specialised in the financial sector.
Graham graduated from Oxford University with a BA in Chemistry.
Chief Financial Officer
Dwight Cupit is the CFO of Bregal and oversees all aspects of finance and operations of the firm.
Dwight has a long association with the Bregal group, formerly being the CFO of Bregal Capital from 2010 to 2015 and previously the CFO of Englefield Capital, which was acquired by Bregal in 2010. Dwight joined Englefield at its inception in 2002, holding its first close in 2003 with Bregal Investments as a major limited partner in its Funds I and II. Before joining Englefield, Dwight was the Finance Director of eVolution Global Partners, a start-up venture capital firm sponsored by Kleiner Perkins, Texas Pacific Group and Bain & Co. Dwight started his career at Arthur Andersen working in the Melbourne, San Francisco and the London offices.
Dwight is a Chartered Accountant in both the UK and Australia and graduated from Monash University in Melbourne, Australia, with a Bachelor in Economics.
Steffen is an Operating Partner of Bregal Milestone. Steffen works with our portfolio companies on high performance initiatives to create value. These include growth strategy, digitalization, performance improvement, salesforce effectiveness, pricing optimization, and merger integration. Prior to joining Bregal Milestone, Steffen was a successful entrepreneur founding and exiting several businesses in various industries ranging from renewable energy to e-commerce.
Steffen began his career as a Management Consulting with McKinsey & Company working in the Munich and Tokyo offices. He led projects for multinational clients with a focus on strategy development, development of business “turn around” and growth programs as well as operational improvement. Steffen holds a PhD (Dr. rer. oec.) from University Duisburg-Essen, and a Masters in Industrial Engineering and Management from University of Karlsruhe (TH). He is an alumnus of Fulbright and Studienstiftung des Deutschen Volkes.
Senior IT Manager
Victor Davies joined Bregal in 2010 as the Senior IT Manager for the European offices and oversees the firm's global IT infrastructure.
Prior to joining Bregal, Victor spent over 10 years as the IT Manager for Atlas Venture LLP's European offices, based in London, Munich and Paris, where he was responsible for setting up and maintaining the IT infrastructure for all the European offices.
Victor has MSc from Middlesex University in Telecommunications and Computing.

Rayhan is the Chief Investment Officer of the firm.
Previously, Rayhan was a Managing Director and a member of the founding team of TowerBrook, being part of TowerBrook's spin-out from Soros Private Equity Partners, which he joined in 2004. Prior to TowerBrook, Rayhan worked at Merrill Lynch and Goldman Sachs.
Rayhan graduated from Oxford University with a First Class Masters degree in Chemistry, coming top of his department in his final year.
Emmanuel de Croÿ
Emmanuel is an Associate at Bregal Milestone. Prior to joining the firm, he was an Investment Banking Analyst at Evercore, where he advised companies and executed a variety of transactions in the Mergers & Acquisitions and Healthcare teams.
Emmanuel holds a double M.Sc. in Management and CEMS degree from the London School of Economics and a B.Sc. in Business Engineering from the Université Saint-Louis in Brussels.
Lodewijk de Graauw

Lodewijk de Graauw is Head of Portfolio Operations for the firm.
Previously, Lodewijk was a partner at Bain & Company, where he led the European turn-around practice.
He also worked in India (Delhi) and Australia (Perth), where he was a founding member of both offices.
Prior to, and during his time at Bain, Lodewijk was an entrepreneur, having owned and operated several start-up companies.
Lodewijk graduated from Tilburg University with two Masters’ degrees (cum laude) in Economics and Computer science, and earned his M.B.A. with distinction from INSEAD.
Alvar de Wolff
Director - CSR
Alvar joined Bregal in December 2016 as Director - Corporate and Social Responsibility.
Prior to joining Bregal, Alvar spent 10 years in private equity working for AAC Capital, a mid-market buyout fund focused on the Benelux region. He was an Investment Director responsible for managing several investments as well as leading the corporate social responsibility and ESG activities. Prior he gained M&A and private equity experience at M&A boutique Sequoia in London.
Alvar was a member of the Responsible Investment committee of the Dutch Venture Capital Association (NVP). He holds a Master in Economics from the University of Groningen, the Netherlands.
Kevin Deemer is a Vice President of Bregal Partners.
Prior to joining Bregal Partners, Mr. Deemer was an Associate Consultant with L.E.K. Consulting. During his tenure, Mr. Deemer was involved in fifteen consulting engagements where he advised U.S. and international clients on strategy, operations, and M&A due diligence. His experience ranges across the healthcare, retail and consumer, and basic industrials sectors.

Lucy joined Bregal in April 2015 as a Fund Accountant.
Prior to joining Bregal, she worked within the Private Equity team at Langham Hall, a fund administration company, where she qualified as a Chartered Global Management Accountant.

Samer Ezzeddine is a Managing Director of Bregal Partners with an investment focus primarily targeting the consumer & multi-unit and food & beverage industries.
He currently serves on the boards of Arcus Hunting Group, TDBBS, United Sports Brands, US Community Behavioral, Ju-Ju-Be, and Colford Capital. He has previously served as a director of Earth Fare and Merrick / Castor & Pollux.
Prior to joining Bregal Partners, Mr. Ezzeddine served as a Principal of Monitor Clipper Partners in Boston. During his 12 year tenure there, Mr. Ezzeddine was involved in the investment of approximately $400 million of equity capital.
Mr. Ezzeddine holds a B.A. in economics and international relations from Tufts University, summa cum laude, and was a Fulbright Scholar.

Managing Director (London)
Mr. Faber joined Bregal in 2004 from Henderson Private Capital, the private equity division of Henderson Global Investors, where he was the head of the global private equity fund of funds business since 2000.
Prior to joining Henderson, Mr. Faber was a private equity specialist for the International Finance Corporation (IFC) in Washington D.C. and was involved in managing a US$1 billion emerging markets private equity fund of funds program. Before IFC, Mr. Faber was a senior investment officer for FMO in the Netherlands where he co-founded the private equity group which was involved in direct and fund investments. Mr. Faber began his career as investment manager for Credit Lyonnais in their International Capital Markets Group.
Mr. Faber has a Masters in Management Science and Industrial Engineering from the University of Technology in Eindhoven.
Reza is a Partner of Clavis Advisors, a corporate finance advisory boutique which he co-founded in 2010. Prior to Clavis, Reza worked at Silver Point Capital where he was involved in a number of distressed debt and private equity investments. He began his career in investment banking at Citigroup working on mergers and acquisitions in the energy and chemical sectors and subsequently moved to Corporate Structured Finance.
Reza received an MSc in Finance and Economics from the LSE where he also achieved a First Class BSc in Economics.
Tax Director - Americas
Ronald Fishman joined Bregal in 2012 as Senior Tax Manager and is responsible for tax planning, compliance and reporting for North American investment activity.
Prior to joining Bregal he was a Vice President and Senior Tax Manager at COFRA North America, where he was involved with tax planning and compliance for its private equity, real estate and retail business activities. Previously, he has held Tax Director positions at Paramount Group Inc., as well as Devon Properties, Inc., and was formerly a Tax Manager at Price Waterhouse.
Mr. Fishman received a B.A. in Business Administration from Rutgers University, and a MST (Masters of Science in Taxation) from Seton Hall University. He is also a Certified Public Accountant.
In her role as a Senior Associate, Raluca Florea focuses on the evaluation, execution and post-transaction value creation in companies Bregal Energy has invested in across the energy sector - exploration and production, power generation, renewables and midstream. Raluca is a key member of the team supervising operations for investments.
Prior to joining Bregal Investments, Raluca worked at McKinsey & Company where she advised clients in Europe and the Middle East across the energy and telecommunications sectors. Her work to re-define strategy and improve operations contributed to EBITDA impact of multiple USD millions for each of the clients she advised. Previously, Raluca spent three years at Procter & Gamble, designing and implementing the financial strategy of 12 brands in nine different geographies, including portfolio optimization and product launches into new markets. Her corporate finance work helped secure the market-leader position of the brands under her oversight.
Raluca has a B.S. in International Business from the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest, where she grew up. She also holds an M.B.A from Harvard Business School.

Mr. Flynn joined Bregal in 2004 from Deutsche Asset Management, the asset management arm of Deutsche Bank, a leading global financial service provider, where he was Global Head of the Private Equity Funds Group. Prior to joining Deutsche Bank, Mr. Flynn worked at the AXA Group, a worldwide leader in financial protection and wealth management, where he founded and managed its €1 billion global private equity fund of funds business.
His investment experience also includes developing investment fund joint ventures for Den norske Bank, Norway's largest financial services firm, arbitrage investing for First City Financial, and leveraged buyout work for Kelso & Company in New York. Before entering the investment field, Mr. Flynn worked as a management consultant for Bain & Company.
Mr. Flynn received a BS in Business Management from the University of California at Berkeley, graduating Phi Beta Kappa. He received an MBA from Stanford University, where he was an Arjay Miller Scholar. He is a Certified Public Accountant.
David Franke is an Investment Manager at Bregal Unternehmerkapital.
Before joining Bregal, he was an Analyst for Lazard in Frankfurt.

Philipp Freyschlag is a Director at Bregal Unternehmerkapital.

Adam Fuller is a Partner and Co-founder at Bregal Sagemount. He is responsible for originating and leading investments in high-growth businesses in the software, business services, and healthcare sectors. Adam led Sagemount’s investments in MicroEdge (acquired by Blackbaud), Keg Logistics, MOBI, Enprecis, and Vital Insights. Prior to Bregal Sagemount, Adam spent five years as a member of the growth equity team at Goldman, Sachs & Co.’s Merchant Banking Division. Adam has led investments in many successful growth companies, including Cyber-Ark (NASDAQ:CYBR), AppSense (acquired by LANDesk), American Traffic Solutions, and Imaging Advantage. Adam was also a Board Observer at Nimsoft (acquired by CA, Inc.) and CambridgeSoft (acquired by PerkinElmer). Prior to Goldman Sachs, Adam was an Associate at Arbor Advisors, an investment bank focused on mergers & acquisitions advisory services for technology companies. Adam received a BA in Economics from Stanford University. Adam lives in Manhattan, New York with his wife, Charlotte, and two daughters, Claire and Margaux.
Previously Gilles worked as an Associate at Bregal Capital for two years. Prior to that, Gilles was at Credit Suisse in the European M&A and Industrial/Energy teams.
Gilles received an MSc in Industrial Engineering from EcoleCentrale Paris.
Blair Greenberg is a Partner at Bregal Sagemount. Prior to Bregal Sagemount, Blair was a Vice President at Technology Crossover Ventures where he focused on investing in technology and financial services companies. Prior to TCV, Blair worked for UBS Investment Bank in the Financial Institutions Group. At UBS, Blair focused on mergers & acquisitions and capital raising transactions for financial technology, asset management, and specialty finance companies. Blair received a BS in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University, graduating with High Distinction, and an MBA with concentrations in Finance, Management & Strategy, and Marketing from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
John is a Senior Associate at Bregal Milestone. Before joining the firm, he was an investment professional with Macquarie’s Principal Finance team, the proprietary investing arm of the bank, investing debt and equity in special situations across Europe. Prior to this, he was an investment consultant to Generation Investment and Denham Capital, two growth private equity firms.
John holds two masters degrees from Oxford University, where he attended as a Rhodes Scholar, including an MBA from the Saïd Business School. He graduated summa cum laude from his B.Sc in Finance at the University of Cape Town.

Mrs. Harrison joined Bregal in 2010 from Ernst and Young, where she worked for 5 years in the Corporate Restructuring department. During this time, Mrs. Harrison worked with a number of financially distressed businesses across a diverse range of sectors. Her work involved assessing the financial strength and prospects of companies and trading businesses that were in administration, which involved managing these businesses through an accelerated sales process or towards winding-up.
Mrs. Harrison is a Chartered Accountant and has a BSc (Hons) in Accounting and Finance from the University of Bristol.
John Paul Heffernan
John Paul joined Bregal in February 2018 as a Financial Controller.
Prior to joining Bregal, John Paul worked for an emerging markets focused asset manager.
John Paul is a Chartered Accountant. He qualified with KPMG and worked in their Private Equity Group before moving to EY.
Jaskaran Heir is a Senior Associate at Bregal Sagemount and is responsible for originating and underwriting investments in the software, healthcare, financial technology, business services, and consumer services sectors. Previously, Jaskaran was an associate at CIVC Partners focusing on business services investments. Before CIVC, Jaskaran was an investment banking analyst at Moelis & Company where he focused primarily on mergers and acquisitions. Jaskaran holds a BS in Economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Norbert Heller is a Senior Investment Manager at Bregal Unternehmerkapital.
Before joining Bregal, he was an Investment Manager at Quadriga Capital and a Senior Consultant at The Boston Consulting Group.

Katey Kalvelage is a Director of Ecommerce at Bregal Partners, focusing on the ecommerce business of consumer retail brands.
Prior to joining Bregal Partners, Ms. Kalvelage served as a Senior Digital Consultant for companies in a variety of industries, including cosmetics, jewelry, home furnishings and auto parts. Prior to this, Ms. Kalvelage managed the ecommerce business for several brands in the luxury and apparel industries.

Prior to founding Bregal Milestone, Philippe was a co-founder and Head of the European middle market lending business at Credit Suisse, investing private capital in European growth companies using the firm’s proprietary capital.
Before setting up this business, Philippe was a senior member of Credit Suisse’s European Special Situations Group. Earlier in his career, Philippe co-founded and ran Circle Capital Partners, a renewable energy investment firm. Philippe began his career in investment banking at ABN Amro and Deutsche Bank. Stephen Mahedy is the Co-Head of Credit at Bregal Sagemount. Prior to joining Bregal Sagemount, Mr. Mahedy was a managing director with Benefit Street Credit Partners, a part of Providence Equity Partners. At Benefit Street, he focused on debt financing in the software, technology, internet, communication, and technology-enabled service sectors. Prior to joining Benefit Street in 2010, Mr. Mahedy established the high-yield and distressed business unit at MF Global. Previously, he served as a managing director in the technology, media and communication services group and sector head of global technology research at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Clayton Main is the Co-Head of Credit at Bregal Sagemount. Prior to this, Mr. Main spent 12 years at Goldman, Sachs & Co., where he was one of the founding team members of the Goldman Sachs Specialty Lending Group. As a Vice President for the Specialty Lending Group, he was responsible for originating, structuring, and managing senior debt, second lien debt, mezzanine debt, and equity investments in leveraged transactions on behalf of Goldman Sachs. Mr. Main led the group’s business development efforts in the Southwest US and was responsible for originations in the business services, financial technology, and software verticals. He graduated Magna Cum Laude, Honors in Business, with a BBA from Southern Methodist University.

Mr. Perekslis has extensive corporate governance experience. Jonathan has also spent time as a legal consultant in the Philippines for an anti-trafficking NGO and continues to act as an advocate in this field as well as a director for a multi-national anti-trafficking charity outside of his role at Bregal.

Gilles Pun-Lai-Yuen joined Bregal in February 2005 as a financial analyst. Working together with the investment teams, he is responsible for the analysis and appraisal of potential investments by Bregal as well as the on-going monitoring of Bregal's investment portfolio.
Previously, Gilles joined KPMG London in 1994 where he trained as a Chartered Accountant. During his last four years at KPMG, Gilles was responsible for KPMG's Financial Sector business modeling services. His work included advising clients on corporate transactions, providing solutions in business strategy, investment appraisals, financing structures and corporate restructuring primarily within the banking, insurance, investment management and private equity sectors.

Previously, Kirk was an associate in Goldman, Sachs & Co.’s Specialty Lending Group where he focused on business and consumer services. Before Goldman Sachs, Kirk was an investment banking analyst at Challenger Capital Group. Kirk holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BS in Finance with honors from the University of Kansas.
Patrick is the Managing Partner of the firm.
Previously, Patrick was a member of the founding team of TowerBrook, being a Managing Director and Investment Committee member since its inception, and was part of TowerBrook's spin-out from Soros Private Equity Partners, which he joined in 2004. Prior to TowerBrook, Patrick was a co-Founder and Senior Partner at Doughty Hanson.
Patrick earned his A.B. from Harvard College and received his M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.

Niklas Steffen is a Senior Investment Manager at Bregal Unternehmerkapital.

Jessica received her J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School and a Certificate in Business and Public Policy from The Wharton School. She also holds a B.A. in Psychology and English Literature from the University of Michigan.
Sandeep Swaminathan is a Principal at Bregal Sagemount, where he is focused on partnering with portfolio company management to drive accelerated growth in revenues and profitability while building operational scale. Prior to joining Bregal Sagemount, Sandeep worked at Vista Equity Partners in their operating group, where he led operational transformation of billion dollar enterprise value companies driving dramatic improvements across all facets of the business ranging from Sales to Product Management.
Prior to Vista, at Sears Holdings, he was responsible for Sears’ Apparel eCommerce business as well as their Member Rewards Program. Earlier in his career, Sandeep worked at Manhattan Associates, an enterprise software company, and was responsible for Professional Services across Asia Pacific for their mid-market solution. Sandeep received his MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business in Strategic Management and Finance and his MS from The Georgia Institute of Technology.
Previously Jiri worked at Morgan Stanley in London and New York in the Benelux coverage, Basic Materials and M&A teams.
Jiri received an MSc in Corporate Finance from Ghent University and a MSc in Finance from Vlerick Business School.
Marco joined Bregal Investments as a Financial Analyst in November 2017, shortly after completing an internship.
Prior to joining Bregal, Marco worked as an equity researcher at Aalto Invest within their long/short equity team. During his time at Aalto Invest, Marco was primarily responsible for conducting micro-level company analysis and industry modelling to aid investment decisions.
Marco holds a BSc in Economics from the London School of Economics.
Pavan Tripathi is a Principal at Bregal Sagemount, where he is focused on originating and underwriting investments in the healthcare, digital infrastructure, software, and specialty finance sectors. Previously, Pavan worked at Goldman, Sachs & Co. as an investment banker and private equity investor. Most recently, he was a member of the Growth Equity team in Goldman Sachs’ Merchant Banking Division where he focused primarily on high-growth software and communication infrastructure businesses. Pavan graduated summa cum laude from the University of California, Los Angeles with degrees in Electrical Engineering and Economics. He also holds an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Previously Paul worked at Credit Suisse in the EMEA Technology, Media and Telecom team.
Paul received his MSc in Econometrics (cum laude) from the Rijksuniversiteit Groningen.
Quentin Van Doosselaere
Quentin Van Doosselaere joined Bregal in January 2009. Following his business school graduation in 1984, he moved to New York and began his career at Drexel Burnham Lambert. He then joined Bankers Trust Co. as a Managing Director and ran various global capital markets businesses. In the mid-nineties, he held executive positions in a number of non-profit organizations before going into academia. He was affiliated with Columbia University and Oxford University when he joined Bregal.
Quentin serves as a member on the investment committees of Bregal Freshstream, Bregal Unternehmerkapital, Bregal Milestone, Bregal Capital, Bregal Sagemount, Bregal Partners, Bregal Energy, Bregal Private Equity Partners, Ranch Capital Investment, Birchill Exploration and Centre Bregal Partners.

Kate joined Bregal in July 2014 and was appointed General Counsel – Europe in December 2015.
Prior to joining Bregal, Kate worked as a corporate lawyer in the private equity teams at Clifford Chance LLP and Taylor Wessing LLP.
Kate is a solicitor of the Senior Courts of England & Wales. She has an LLB law degree from University of Nottingham, and an LLM in corporate and commercial law from University of London, King’s College London.
Financial Controller - Americas
Ramie Waxman joined Bregal in 2012 and is responsible for financial reporting and cash management.
Prior to joining Bregal she was Controller at COFRA North America, where she was involved in the finance functions for all its retail and real estate business activities.
Ramie graduated from SUNY Oneonta with a B.S. degree in Business Economics and a M.S. degree in Accountancy from Long Island University.

Christian Weigend is a Senior Investment Manager at Bregal Unternehmerkapital.
Before joining Bregal, Christian was an Associate Director in the Investment Banking Division of UBS in Zürich.

Curt Witte is the Head of Portfolio Operations for Bregal Sagemount with a focus on partnering with portfolio company management to drive high yield operations enhancement. Prior to joining Bregal Sagemount, he was an Operating Partner at Symphony Technology Group, where he focused on portfolio company operations enhancement for various tech businesses in eCommerce, business services, health care IT, mobile apps, and advertising. Prior to Symphony Technology Group, Curt founded and scaled Findly (profitable $50 million revenue on-demand software company) through its merger, and successful spinoff, from First Advantage, a Symphony Technology Group company.
Finance Director - Americas
Prior to joining Bregal, Amy Wong managed the middle office group in the Alternative Investments business at JPMorgan Chase. Previously, she worked in the Finance and Accounting area at Gen Re where she was responsible for the accounting of all entities in the Corporate Finance business. In addition, she has prior experience in various auditing functions. She started her career in the Ernst & Young financial services assurance group.
Amy received a BS degree from NYU Stern School of Business for accounting and information systems. She is a CPA (Certified Public Accountant, CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) charterholder, and CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor).
Natalie joined the Bregal Investments London finance team in August 2016 as a Fund Accountant.
Prior to joining Bregal, Natalie worked in Private Equity, in Australia, for Ironbridge Capital for 7 years.
Natalie graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce - Professional Accounting degree from Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia in 2013.
Phil Yates is a Partner at Bregal Sagemount. Prior to this, Phil was with Great Hill Partners from 2003 to 2012 where he focused on growth investments in software and technology-enabled services across the healthcare, payments, business services and consumer verticals. Before Great Hill Partners, Phil was at Carousel Capital, a middle market private equity firm headquartered in Charlotte, NC where he worked on transactions in franchising, healthcare, industrials, and communications. Phil started his career with Deutsche Banc Alex. Brown in the Consumer and Business Services investment banking group. Phil holds a BS in Business Administration with honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Charles Yoon has more than two decades of experience in the private equity industry, with an investment focus primarily targeting the consumer & multi-unit and food & beverage industries.
He serves on the boards of American Seafoods Partners, TDBBS, United Sports Brands, Ju-Ju-Be, Pilot Automotive, and Total Vision. He has previously served as a director of Earth Fare, MyEyeDr., Paradigm Tax Group, Market Track, TPI, and Merrick / Castor & Pollux.
Prior to joining Bregal Partners, Mr. Yoon served as a Partner of Monitor Clipper Partners in Boston. He joined MCP in 2004, and, during his tenure, the firm invested over $1.3 billion in equity capital. Prior thereto, Mr. Yoon was a Principal at Brentwood Associates. He began his private equity career in 1995 at Morgan Stanley Capital Partners.

Before Goldman Sachs, Gene was a Partner at Great Hill Partners, a private equity firm specializing in the media, communications, technology, and business services sectors. Earlier in his career, he was Director of Corporate Development at Geocast Network Systems, a venture-backed technology infrastructure provider. Gene began his career at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette in investment banking. He holds both a Bachelors in Economics and an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
